Shipping

When will I receive my order?

Most pieces available to purchase online are in stock and will ship within two business days. Pieces that are custom-made, like rings, will take up to 10 days to make and ship. All pieces that are custom-made are indicated in the product description.


The jewelry/process/materials

How long does it take to make them?

I don’t typically time myself per piece. When I sit at my bench to make a pair of falling leaf earrings for example, I use already cut and sanded shapes. A magnetic wall in my studio is home to dozens of small tins with silver pieces in them. Most everything is handcrafted, from ear wires to jump rings. A piece of jewelry typically takes between 1-3 hours, and up to 10 for the more intricate pieces. You can see my process step-by-step here.


Are the earrings heavy?

They are surprisingly lightweight. The weight ranges from X oz to Z oz. (compare to a coin)


Where do you buy your pearls?

Pearls and stones are purchased at local gem shows. I always inspect pearls for the best luster before purchasing them.


I’m allergic to nickel. Can I wear your earrings?

All ear wires and posts are made of sterling silver. Sterling silver is an alloy of fine silver and copper, and does not include nickel. The vermeil pieces, however, are plated in nickel before being plated in gold. Some customers are unable to wear the vermeil ear wires and posts. Please contact me if you need a special type of ear wire.


How do you care for the jewelry?

Can you make something in solid gold?

Yes, but the price of solid gold is about ten times that of silver, so the cost will be much higher. For example, a $200 pair of earrings may cost up to $2,000. Please contact me if you’re interested.


Do you make custom jewelry?

I am happy to make my own designs with different colored pearls or stones, in different lengths, and other variations of designs, including repurposing an old strand of pearls. I do not make custom engagement rings or wedding bands, but I’m happy to refer you to another jeweler!


Alterations/repairs

I need a longer or shorter chain.

No problem! Most necklaces in my shop are available in different lengths. If you already have a necklace that needs a different chain, you might need to send it back for me to change it out.


I like a particular style but I want it with different colored pearls/stones.

Contact me! I’m happy to discuss options with you. I have different colors of pearls and various stones in every color in the rainbow.


I lost an earring!

No worries! Email me a photo of your lone earring. I will give you a price quote and estimated time of completion. I may request that you send the earring to me so I can match them perfectly.


Return/exchange policy

Requests for refunds and/or exchanges must be made by email or phone call within 7 (seven) days of the order’s delivery date. For a full refund or exchange, jewelry must be in unworn condition, in original packaging, and immediately available for resale. Refunds will be made to the original form of payment (including gift cards) after jewelry is received, inspected, and approved. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

If jewelry is defective in any way, or damaged during transit, it will be replaced at no cost to you, or it can be returned for a full refund. Return shipping costs will be covered in the case of defective or damaged products.

After seven days of receipt of an order, or in the case that jewelry has been worn, no refunds or exchanges will be accepted.
