With any new year comes the excitement, and possible pressure, of creating resolutions. I like to think of them in a more realistic light and call them “goals.” Resolutions or goals are reminders of our desire to accomplish, gain, pursue, or become something.
Honestly I believe that as humans and spiritual beings, we have a passion to BE GOOD. In this world, there is more good than bad, more positive forces than negative, more LOVE than hate. And resolutions remind us of that goodness within us. We want to become stronger and better, in mind, body, and spirit.
I have two reasonably attainable goals:
1. Each day, write ONE thing I am most grateful for that day and put it in a cookie jar.
2. Create less food waste.
Cheers to YOUR new year’s goals!
